Collaborative Meal-Planning and Goal-Tracking

Whether because of your career, your kids or your extracurricular activities, committing to eating well on a daily basis without a plan can be really intimidating. Defeating, even. 

How can I help you?

First, you’ll pull out your calendar. We will sit down together to understand what your week ahead holds and create a realistic meal plan that you feel comfortable with and that fits the goals you have for yourself/your family.

This plan can incorporate both stand-by favorites as well as new recipes and ideas to liven up your regular rotation. 

We’ll then check in afterward to see how successful your plan was: did your daughter absolutely love the wild rice salad, but your partner hated the fish? Did the casserole take too long to make on laundry night? Was the tortilla soup a huge hit? We’ll identify what worked and what didn’t in order to create an even better plan for the next week. I’ll be your accountability coach, thought partner and cheerleader all along the way.

We will meet weekly for 90-minute sessions, for six weeks.

Home Cooking Skill-Building and Inspiration

Do you want regular one-on-one time to create the building blocks necessary to understand what foods you need to feel your best...and how to build your confidence and toolkit to start cooking on a regular basis?

We will start with a 90-minute Assessment session and determine, based on your goals, if you need to begin at the Mise en Place level, or can skip ahead to the Heat Up the Skillet tier.

Mise en Place

This is a French phrase that means “everything in its place.” In cooking, this is a process in which you get everything prepped before you start. And it means the same in this partnership. Let’s make sure your foundation is strong to ensure you are set up for success in your healthful habits! This includes a pantry makeover, a kitchen tools assessment and strategies for grocery store navigation. 

  • Pantry Makeover - Let’s get your pantry in as healthful a place it can be while supporting you at the same time.

  • Toolbox Assessment - You don’t need anything fancy, but a dependable toolkit of basics will make your kitchen life SO much easier...and way more fun.

  • Grocery Store Navigation - Let’s create a shopping strategy around your budget, your favorite store(s), the healthiest products and your core values (be that reasonable pricing to sustainably sourced).

Heat Up the Skillet

There’s no better way to learn how to cook than by just doing it. Together, we’ll start our way through recipes that build your confidence, sprinkling in kitchen hacks, tips and tricks along the way. Soon enough, you are going to find your go-to recipes that you can incorporate into weekly meal plans. You’ll be a bona fide home cook in no time!

While we’re building these habits and skills, I recommend meeting at least every other week, in person or virtually.

Pricing will vary based on needs. Eight-week session (about two hours per week) starts at $600. 

 

SLICE AND DICE

A La Carte Packages

Not everything fits into a neat package. Sometimes you need a little help for a little while. Sometimes you need something a little different. Here are some ideas of what that could look like.

“So, you want to try a [Whole30, Paleo, Vegetarian, Flexitarian, Vegan] diet?” Challenge 

First, we’ll determine just why it is you want to try this particular way of eating, making sure you understand the diet’s pros and cons. If we decide to move forward, we’ll begin planning a month out—figuring out which ingredients you’ll need to stock up on and gathering delicious and interesting recipes for meals and snacks. I’ll coach you through a test run by asking you to cook this way at least once a week in the month prior so you’re not having to start something brand-new when you go all in. Then during the “challenge,” I will be your partner all along the way, sending you inspiration and encouragement, and helping you stay accountable to your goals.

We’ll build out a desired time frame of this challenge and re-evaluate during and at the end of that time to determine how this way of eating is working/has worked for you.

Nine-week package starts at $450.


BFF Foods...and the Ones Only Pretending to Be

We’ll take a month to go through an elimination diet by slowly eliminating the foods many people are allergic or sensitive to, then gradually adding them back, keeping detailed notes on how you feel along the way.

Then we’ll spend the next month creating meal plans around your BFF foods, leaving the rest at the store.

I’m Fun at Parties!

There’s nothing better than hanging out with your friends while simultaneously doing something productive and, even better, healthy. Am I right? How about inviting your friends to a party where I lead a cooking class at your house? You get to spend time with each other, cook something delicious and nutritious, and in the end, you’ve hosted a dinner party without having to do all the work.
